Make new friends

Having a baby and looking after young children can be an isolating experience, which is why joining the Ealing 135 Groups and getting involved in our activities means you'll have a whole group of new friends nearby.

Depending on the ages of your children, if you've just moved to the area or have had your first or second baby, you might like to meet up with people going through the same experience as you.

We run several small, friendly groups for members where you can chat over a coffee and get to know other local parents or carers.

    • BABYSITTING CIRCLE

Need to get out more? Join this well established group and enjoy evenings out without paying twice.

    • FIRST TIME PARENTS GROUP

Just had your first baby? Feeling a bit daunted? You're not alone. Come and meet other new mums.

    • GRANDPARENTS GROUP

Lots of grandparents take an active role in caring for their grandchildren while their parents work. Our grandparents' group helps connect them - it's always more fun doing stuff with like-minded people.

    • LONE PARENTS

Whether you're single, divorced, separated or widowed, being a single parent can be a demanding task. Being part of a network helps you and your children. Come and make some new friends.

    • HOME CHILD CARERS

If you're a nanny, childminder or au-pair this group is for you. Come and meet other carers in Ealing and share your experiences.

    • SECOND TIME PARENTS GROUP

This group is for those of you expecting your second (third/fourth/fifth or even more!) babies and would like to meet others going through the same experience.

    • SPECIAL CARE BABY GROUP

This support group was founded by a mum whose son was born at 24 weeks. He had a difficult journey but after 15 weeks in hospital he was ready to come home to live with his family.

    • WORKING PARENTS GROUP

Organised by busy working mother of one, Sarah Wallace, the working parents' group is a great way to meet other parents who are learning to juggle work and family life.

    • FIT CLUB

The Fit Club will be offering two things: exercise sessions at lots of different levels and also motivational support from members for anyone trying to lose weight or simply maintain a sensible diet.

    • PARENTS COPING WITH BEREAVEMENT

This is a new group to get together with others who have had similar experiences.
